 Well we had our girls retreat 2012 and it was a fun one! This was our third year doing this and I hope we do it every year! This year we went to my in laws house and Jess' aunt Julie and his cousin Hillary, his sisters Heather, Crystal, Tiffany, and his brothers wife Jennifer all came. We do this with the girls in Jess' family 2010 was gardner village and shopping 2011 was Julies cabin and we all did a craft project to share 2012 was pumpkin walk movie and do your own craft/sewing projects! It was so much fun it is so nice to get together and get to do what we want, it is usually no boys allowed but we had a very good exception this year, my 5 week old nephew Hollister got to come with his mom Tiff and I was a bit of a baby hog! But seriously how could I not want to hold him!! We went to the pumpkin walk in Logan it was really fun and cute, then we went to dinner at Olive Garden (my fav!!) Then went to the movie Pitch Perfect and it was so funny we all laughed so hard and baby Hollister was so good and Tiff did not even have to take him out ,I was glad she did not miss out on the movie! Then we went home (to my mother in laws) and played the card game golf there is nine rounds and my mother in law does a prize for each round. Last year I did so good but this year not so much! But is was still fun and we had some good laughs and got to gossip a lot! Then on Saturday Mitzi made us the best breakfast ever!! We started our crafts and we all brought treats to share and snacked and crafted all day! That was about it, we  had some good times and I am so glad that I get to be a part of this family and have such a great mother in law she always makes sure we have a good time! I also have some pretty awesome sister in laws thanks for the great weekend I can't wait for next year!

 

 

 

 

Color Vibe 5k

 So this was my first 5k I signed up with my sister Natalie and I told my

sister in law Jennifer and her and my niece Kalyssa signed up! It was so fun to

be able to do this with them! The race was up at Weber State in Ogden

We ran along the mountain it was so pretty, but it was so chilly before the race the breeze was a little cold but it was great once we got running!

 They had different heats Jen and Kalyssa ran in the second heat and Nat and I were in the third

Nat is so fast and runs a lot but I did catch up to Jen and Kalyssa so it was fun to be able to run with them! They had different color stations and people would throw the powder paint on us every so often they had a new color it was so fun!

 I am so glad I did the 5k I did a lot better than I thought I only walked a little when I got a side ache

I can't wait to do another one!

and everyone was dancing the did a "color bomb" when they counted down everyone threw their color in the air Jen got a really good picture of that! After we went to lunch with mom, Nat Eric and Kaidance and everyone was giving Nat and I funny looks with our color but I was proud of it! Can't wait til next year!

and my cousin Kambrie got to be in the same group for their age, and My cousins Laci, Kaitlyn and my brothers other niece did it to and they are in the older groups and all of the girls are great dancers!

Change of heart

Well you may all think I am weak..... But new plan..... SO I thought Jess would be proud of my delete facebook idea but he was sad because he looks at a couple lineman and hunting pages! He does have his own page but we never use it, he does not even know his password and I think he has only been on it once! So I might just delete that and let him use mine I like to use mine for Pinterest and I forgot to have that you have to have fb or twitter I don't really care for twitter but I don't want to be on fb a lot that was why I wanted to delete it! But I do enjoy keeping up with family so I might just do a clean out of friends and pages that I "like" like I said it is nice to catch up with people but I don't want to be on fb all the time I need to have self control and make myself do something else I guess! So I have not turned it back on but I might but I think I will just clean it out and try to not be a fb addict! Don't think I am weak I hope I will be strong and not  use it a lot! I hope to do the blog more than being on facebook!

I did it!

Well for a while I have wanted to delete my Facebook account and my Twitter account and I FINALLY did!! I feel that I spend way to much time on them and Twitter I only looked at my sisters so I will just be doing my blog I hope that means I will be posting more! I may be back to Facebook sometime but for now I really need a break from it!

Bountiful Ridge

Jess is on call this weekend so we have to stay in Bountiful, his cousin Hillary wanted us to do something with her and her boyfriend Ryan so they came to Bountiful to golf with us. Ryan golfs a lot I have only been once before and  Hillary has never been so we thought this would be fun! It was a lot of fun and at first I did not do so good but once I got warmed up I could hit far! I love to golf it is a lot of fun I think I will be begging Jess to take me all the time! I hope Hill had fun we would love to golf with them again!

Well today is my mom and dads 30th anniversary! That is a lot of love! I am so happy for them I love my mom and dad so much they have always been there for all of us and always want the best for us!

They had five crazy kids well I should say four crazy girls and a boy! Just kidding! I love my family and I would not have it any other way! My mom and dad met at sky view high school and have been together ever since! I love that they taught us that you should be friends with your spouse and always support and back each other up! They also have 3 beautiful grand kids that they love so much, and I don't blame them they are some pretty amazing kids! And thanks to my grandparents for having my parents and supporting them so that I could be here! Love you all and Happy anniversary Mom and Dad love you so much!
